Bet of the Day 04/02/2013

Well what a day yesterday with the Baltimore Ravens bringing home the cash for us all, it was the final piece of a profitable week, although I feel we could have done better, a few close races and a few errors meant we were cheated out of a great week, but remember, a profit is a profit and a win is a win.

Today we start all over again and they quality of racing is superb. Thanks to the great British Weather, Sandown lost their hurdle races and today we go to DONCASTER to see some of the likely Cheltenham entries.
The 15.00at Doncaster is the 32red 2m Hurdle and in it you will find 4 runners, three of whom will almost certainly go to the Champion Hurdle in March, of those on offer there is last year’s Champion Hurdle winner ROCK ON RUBY, COUNTRYWIDE FLAME and my favourite to win the money on day one of the Festival……..DARLAN, currently he is 4/1 to win the big race and only 10/11 to win today, if you have bit in the account then this could be the one today.

For those of you looking for value, the 13.50 maiden hurdle sees duel cesarewich winner AAIM TO PROSPER (5/2) and ZUIDER ZEE (3/1) battle it out over the obstacles, my preference would be for the latter who I have seen win on the flat at Chester.
Of the rest PINDAR 11/2 (16.05) and MISSISSIPPI BLUES 9/2 (16.35) have decent E/W chances.
